Series means connecting a negative terminal of one battery to the positive terminal of another battery to increase the Voltage. A Parallel connection on the other hand, means connecting like (Positive to Positive and Negative to Negative) terminals of batteries together. Off grid solar power - How many batteries do you really need? Even though my main battery banks are 24V 630Ah and 24V 375Ah, I've just been running my house on these batteries for the last few weeks as a test. With 1.5kW of solar panels hooked up, the batteries are at float by about 11am and get down to about 75-70% state of charge overnight. During the evening I have an electric fan running, a 5W LED lamp, my chest fridge and the laptop and satellite modem going. Once I go to bed, the fan stays on, I have a phone charger for the tunes and my chest fridge runs all night.

I only did the test once and it did not go the way I thought it would, took a bit of time. their are many type of batteries out there I chose the batteries that i did because of convenience, Energizer,Duracell, Fusion, Rayovac, Thunder bolt, EverReady gold, Panasonic and sunbeam Alkaline, this was fun and surprising, you may not like the outcome. In this video, we are talking about my preferred method to discharge DJI Drone batteries if you have to take them on a flight. There are many different ways people discharge drone batteries for travel including running the motors. However, my personal preference is to discharge via the DJI Battery power bank adapter and charge up my devices such as iPhones and iPads. You can even use this method to offload the power to another power bank. These adapters are generally included in the fly more kits/combos but can also be purchased separately if needed. I have 2 12 volt marine batteries I use for my trolling motor on my 12ft boat.
