It is about changing your beliefs and subconscious so your habits reflect them. It doesn’t take years.in fact, that belief will keep you held back. It takes daily commitment starting right now. Procrastination is your mind trying to keep you safe.

Lol “there is no such thing as a good or bad memory, there is a trained memory and an untrained memory, does that make sense?”. Nope actually it doesn’t make sense. if you are untrained at something that means you are bad at it. he is just being all philosophical and playing with words

It doesn’t take years, it took me a few months of determination, failures and relapses to go complete vegan after eating like a wild animal for over 25 years. I’ve been vegan for about 9 months now and I don’t regret a second of any of the sacrifices I had to make. I encourage everyone else in the world puts their best foot forward and make a positive change for am experience of a lifetime. Remember, it only took me a few months to go from wild boar to canary. Good luck my brothers and sisters ❤️

Keep healthy options around, hold yourself accountable, spend time in nature, ground yourself, meditate and drink clean alkaline spring water. Most of the time we’re “hungry” we’re actually just dehydrated.

Horribly explained why people are fat and out of shape. eat smart train hard mix it up and be consistent. repeat 3x week. Stop hanging out with people in general. lose the bad relationships, get a new job if you hate the one you got. Constant change until you find what works for a simple, healthy , stress free life.

how can you apply this concept to social media? Can this work when you are trying to give up social media? I am far less productive because I feel like I waist so much time on social media, and it's actually preventing me from reaching my goals. What Can I do? Thanks

I wanted to give up watching movies n tv shows and songs First i deleted all of the kdrama collections i had. Then i gave up my one direction song collection. Then i deleted evry songs Then evry movies. So i deleted all of these collections from my phone n comouter. But theres still tv. I still watch it. But not like crazy as i used to do before. I was addicted to movies. But now i watch, like, 1 movie in every 2 months or something. I'm sure one day I'll stop watching it completely. The only thing thats holding me back is, some movies are really informative. And this guy is right. Try this method. Cut things of one by one. And before u know it, you would hav gotten rid of it.

Now that I look back, using this self-identity technique was what got me completely away from weed. I turned it into something that “I just don’t do”. I might come off as close-minded, but I always explain my story and on emotional terms, why i quit. I couldnt care less though. My next goal is to be almost completely procrastination-free: Eg i dont sit at internet for 3-5 hrs just to go to library at 15:00 instead of 11:00 or 12:00

I use a step counter, but I use it for dancing, not working out. There's no question of no pain, no gain, because while my muscles get tired, they don't hurt. I put on music that I love, and then I dance until the end of the song that is at the end of the 30 minutes--which can extend the dance to anywhere from 31 to 35 minutes before the end of the song. Sometimes I'm having so much fun that I'll dance an extra song or even two. I do this two or three times a day, depending on whether I'm going to work. Exercise does not require any will power from me. Sometimes, I don't even want to quit. Since it's fun, if the last song is a jazz piece by Chick Corea, I don't care if it's a 20 minute piece that goes on for fifteen minute beyond my intended end time. I began doing this because I realized that I have a huge library of music that I never listened to, including rock, jazz, classical, world music, and more. Now, I play the entire library in random order, and it's always a pleasant surprise what the next song is.

“For the rest of my life” may work for some. The forever part makes it more difficult for me, probably many others as well. It seems so big, when you think of never again. That’s why people say to take it one day at a time. Don’t worry about never having a drink, cigarette, whatever, ever again. Just think, right now I’m not gonna do that. I’m strong enough to not do that right now.

This resonates very much. Thank you. I had a friend tell me a few years ago that you have to make it believable for yourself otherwise you get all screwed up (not her words). Thanks for the reminder. Despite what you call it, it feels like a gentler transition than going extreme and that feels balanced. Much appreciated. I believe it can take as long as it takes each person to get it and wake up. It does not have to be years.
